The Glory Road campaign was centred around the Kingdom of Pars and its capital city, Saane, on the River Pars (this being an obvious reversal of the City of Paris on the River Seine, and the equally obvious pun of the PC's being in Saane, or insane.) Pars, is, of course a standard Western European fantasy kingdom (for which, read: "Mediæval France/England/Italy"), complete with Elves, Dwarves and Orcs. Familiarity trumps originality. The ruler of the Kingdom of Pars is King Usvald VII, king by his own hand (that is, he killed the last king, King Orvall V). The original world map of the Glory Road was hand drawn on two poster-sized sepia-toned sheets of Judges Guild hex paper.
